Found a hacky, original, or genuinely interesting DIY watch build — yours or someone else's? We review every submission. If it's a good fit we'll write it up and credit you as the tip-off.
What we feature
Mechanical builds
Hand-crafted movements, modified calibers, skeletonised plates, tourbillons built from scratch. If it involves a mainspring and a steady hand, we want to know about it.
Digital & firmware
Custom watch computers, ESP32 wristwatches, e-ink displays, GPS synchronisation — anything that runs code and tells the time.
3D-printed cases & dials
SLA, FDM, or SLS — if someone designed and printed their own watch case, bracelet, or dial, we're interested.
Restoration
Bringing a neglected vintage piece back to life, sourcing impossible parts, or a complete service documented start to finish.
Tools & jigs
Homemade watchmaking tools — case presses, timing machines, mainspring winders, demagnetisers. The meta-builds.
What we don't cover
Mass-produced watches, unboxings, affiliate reviews, or projects with no original making involved. We cover builders, not buyers.
