Work with us

Reach the people who make watches.

ChronoHackers reaches an audience that other watch publications do not: makers, hobbyists, and serious enthusiasts who own a bench, buy components, and spend real money on tools. They are not here to browse watches they cannot afford. They are here because they want to build one.

Sponsorships

A sponsorship runs for one week across the site. It includes a short, honest description of your product or service written by us in our voice — not ad copy. The goal is for readers to encounter it as a recommendation from someone they trust, not an interruption.

Sponsorships are disclosed clearly. We do not run ads that pretend to be editorial.

Good fits

  • Watch tool and equipment suppliers
  • Movement and component dealers
  • Material suppliers — mainspring stock, gaskets, crystals, straps
  • Books, courses, and technical references for watchmakers
  • Precision equipment relevant to bench work
  • 3D printing materials and services used in watch making
  • Electronic components and PCB services for wearable builds

Not a fit

  • × Watches for sale at retail
  • × Fashion or lifestyle brands
  • × General consumer products unrelated to making

Product Features

If you make something a watch maker would genuinely use, we are open to a conversation about featuring it editorially. This is not a paid review. It means we evaluate the product ourselves, and if it is genuinely useful, we write about it in the same voice we use for everything else.

Product features are editorially independent. We will tell you if we are going to cover something, but we will not let you approve or edit the copy. If we think something does not hold up, we will say so or we will not write about it at all.

Product features are always disclosed as such and are separate from sponsorships. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage.

ChronoHackers is a signpost to good work, never a substitute for it. That applies to products as much as projects — if we feature something here, it is because we think it belongs in a maker's workshop.

Get in touch

For sponsorship enquiries and product feature submissions, email us with a brief description of what you make and who you think the audience for it is. We respond to every enquiry, even if the answer is that it is not a fit right now.
