Trent Tech Tickers' TTT-001 Is A Stainless Steel Case Mod For The Casio GA2100
A limited 200-piece kit swaps the Casioak's resin case for full stainless steel with a sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel insert, without touching the watch's electronics.
TL;DR
A stainless steel case mod kit for the Casio GA2100 Casioak
The Casio GA2100 — better known by its nickname, the Casioak — has spawned one of the biggest case-mod aftermarkets in watch hacking, and Trent Tech Tickers just added a new entrant: a full stainless steel case kit called the TTT-001.
What They Built
The TTT-001 replaces the GA2100’s stock resin case with a machined stainless steel housing, complete with an engraved case back, sapphire crystal front, and a rotating 120-click bezel with a ceramic insert. It’s rated to 10 ATM, fits a standard 22mm strap, and is compatible with the GA210, GA2110, GAB2100, and GAB001 modules. It’s a limited run of 200 pieces, priced at $135, currently open for preorder.
How They Did It
Unlike electronics mods, this one doesn’t touch the watch’s guts at all — the kit doesn’t include the module or strap, so the idea is you supply your own donor GA2100-family watch, pull the electronics out of the stock case, and rehouse them in the new stainless shell. Trent Tech Tickers published an install video walking through the swap, which is squarely in the same DIY territory as the long-running SKXMOD-style Casioak mod scene, just with their own case geometry and finish.
Go See It
The TTT-001 is up for preorder at Trent Tech Tickers, where you’ll also find their other Casio mod parts, custom faceplates, and bezels.
